How To Know If You're Close To A Breakthrough (And How To Speed It Up)

Do you feel stuck with something?

Do you feel frustrated by something?

From my experience, it means you're closer to the breakthrough. Impermanence guarantees it.

What I've seen in my own life is when there's a cloud of uncertainty and stuckness keeping me from moving forwards, it's a sign that things will tip over into their opposite.

It's a build-up stage. Accumulation that will lead to conclusion.

My advice:

1) Choose the stuckness. By choosing it, as if it's your choice to be stuck, you allow the problem to get un-stuck.

The ball starts rolling again.

Not forcing the issue can help, but if you really want to take some kind of action to speed the process up:

2) Ask what would need to be true (wwntbt) to fail to solve this problem?

3) Make your list, and see if there's actions to take to prevent those failure factors.

4) Then, let Experience Mind detach from Commentary Mind to work on the problem in the background of your conscious thought.

It's like Hexagram 50, letting the ingredients come together in the pot on their own.

If this sounds too passive, think back to how often you've been successful when forcing the issue. For me, there's not too many memories confirming that to be the right approach.

But if it works for you, keep on keeping on.
